Marin Air Patrol’s 'Volunteer of the Year'

David Mitchell, above, a member of our Air Patrol unit, was recognized as Volunteer of the Year recently. The Marin Sheriff’s Department called it “a well-deserved recognition of his dedication and selfless service.

“In 2024 alone, the department’s Air Patrol unit contributed over 600 volunteer hours across 14 missions.

The department asks all Marin residents to “Please help us congratulate David on this outstanding honor!”
